CORNWALL, Ontario - More snow today - a lot more.

Environment Canada forecasts as much as 20 cm by the end of today in the Cornwall area.

The weather contributed to a massive pileup on Highway 401 near Inglesied that inclueds multiple tractor-trailers.

OPP are at the scene right now, and report no injuries. Eastbound traffic on the snowcovered highway is being rerouted at the Dickinson interchange.

A low pressure system south of Maine is tracking northeast along the eastern seaboard today, making life miserable for millions of people.

In the Cornwall area it will be rough.

Snow at times heavy associated with the system continues over the Cornwall area. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are possible before the snow tapers off this evening.

The highest amounts are expected near the Quebec border and the St. Lawrence River with lower amounts further north and west.

Police are urging motorists to stay home unless it's absolutely necessary.
