CORNWALL, Ontario - Residents in Ingleside that started the weekend without any heat are now toasty warm.
Union Gas officials were successful in getting their supply restarted after a low-pressure problem Friday night had about 730 customers without gas for things like furnaces and ovens.
The problem began Friday when a natural gas station serving the Ingleide area malfunctioned thanks to weather.
Union Gas crews had to go door-to-door in the village to relight pilot lights and the like. They used the Ingleside fire station as gathering and meeting point.
