Cornwall drug bust yields $3,300 worth of pot, hash

CORNWALL, Ontario – City cops netted two arrests and a large amount of weed and hash after dismantling an alleged drug operation in Cornwall.

The Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a drug search warrant at a St. Felix address on Friday, February 21.

Police allege they found a large amount of weed and hash worth an estimated street value of $3,300.

Richard Tooley, 57, and Denis Morin, 19, were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of hash, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, production of marijuana, production of hash, and possession of property obtained by crime (a small amount of cash).

Both men were released to appear in court in March.
