CORNWALL, Ontario - An all-candidates debate will take place Thursday in Cornwall in the run up to the June 12 election.

The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event to be held in the Salons of the Cornwall Civic Complex. It starts at 7 p.m. and  will be televised live on TV Cogeco.

“As part of its commitment to the community, the chamber is hosting the debate to give the public an opportunity to hear from the candidates and to find out what each one has to offer,” said Kevin Hargreaves, the business association’s president. “There are issues that effect our entire region and the Chamber wants to ensure that everyone is informed before they vote.”

The debate will consist of a moderator who will posing a series of questions to each of the candidates.
