CORNWALL, Ontario - Someone in Cornwall woke up a millionaire Thursday morning.

Well, they're probably from Cornwall.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has confirmed the Lotto 649 Guaranteed $1 million Prize Draw winner from the June 18 draw bought their ticket in the Seaway City.

OLG officials said they don;t know who the winner is, as they have yet to step forward. And while the winner is likely from the city, or surrounding area, it's also possible they were just passing through town and bought a ticket along the way.

“Somebody’s going to win the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize each and every draw, and this time the winning ticket was sold in Cornwall,” said Greg McKenzie, a senior vice-president with the OLG.

There have been 96 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws to date. Forty-six of the winning tickets have been sold in Ontario.

If you purchased a ticket from the draw you are encouraged to check the numbers - you may be the winner.

Winning number can be checked here.

This "mystery" winner should try and stay as much of a mystery as possible. Getting big-time, mega-celebrity publicity is often the worst mistake that winners make. Anyway, if you're interested, I have made up a little free and just-for-fun page which generates your own personal quick pick numbers. Who knows, it might work - you just never know your luck! As I say, it is free and just a bit of fun, so look out for VillaLibra Lucky Numbers if you want to see if you can locate it for yourself.
