The carnage left by a suspected arsonist in the city's east end where vehicles impounded by City Tow were set ablaze.
CORNWALL, Ontario - City police are reaching out to the public to gather more details concerning a vicious arson case in Cornwall.
Police are still trying to gather details concerning an incident in May where nine vehicles were torched at a storage yard operated by City Tow and Recovery on Montreal Road.
Const. Dan Cloutier said the public has been helpful in the past when it comes to these kinds of requests.
"The public has always been quick to respond," he said. "We know what happened that night. But we're hoping the public can give us more."
On May 30 someone lit up the vehicles in what many consider to be an ongoing attempt to target the towing company. Other City Tow vehicles have been set ablaze in the past.
for that reason police do not believe the most recent incident to be isolated and are asking if anyone has seen anything or have any information to contact Det.-Const. Mark Anderson at 613-933-5000 ext. 2603.
