CORNWALL, Ontario – As Ford Mustang turns 50, the Cornwall Area Mustang Club (CAMC) celebrates its first-year anniversary – and just like the muscle car, the club is showing no signs of slowing down.

The low rumble of over 50 Mustang engines roared in the Home Hardware parking lot in Cornwall on Saturday, July 5.

The CMAC’s 50 members shared their milestone with the Mustang Club of Montreal and the National Capital Mustang Association (NCMA).

The large group of automobile enthusiasts and gearheads showed off their prized rides for bragging rights, shared their classic car stories, and enjoyed BBQ and free entertainment.

The local club meets Saturdays at 6 p.m. at Home Hardware located at Thirteenth and Pitt streets.

The club’s motto: the legend lives here…

“Show me a car that has lasted 50 years. There’s not too many,” said Guy Lemay, the club’s president.
