The inaugral Theology on Tap event at Quinn's Inn on July 18.
The first Theology on Tap event drew a crowd of 26, mostly ages 19 to 39, on Friday, July 18 at Quinnâs Inn in St. Andrews West.
"I'm trying to get young adults in this region to talk about their faith, to get together, to ask questions," said Sister Francine Guilmette.
The group learned about a faith topic relevant to their lives in an informal setting, and shared meaningful conversation, munchie platters and a few pints.
The monthly event delivers a short teaching by a guest speaker followed by an open discussion.
"The goal is to create a space for young adults to explore how faith in Christ can speak to their circumstances," said Guilmette.
The next edition of Theology on Tap takes place on Friday, August 22, starting at 7:30 p.m. The free event is open to the public.
"Theology on Tap isn't only for people who attend church regularly," she said.
More to come.
