CORNWALL, Ontario – The Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) is bursting with babies.

A spike in births last month set a new record at the North Dundas hospital, doctors say.

The hospital’s maternity program saw 80 deliveries – six more babies than June.

“Congratulations to all of the new families and to our entire team,” said Dr. Shamsa Deeb, WDMH’s chief of obstetrics.

The WDMH program offers complete obstetrical care by a core team of family physicians, obstetricians and midwives, fullservice care with 24/7 pain management, as well as specially trained nurses and support staff.
