CORNWALL, Ontario - The Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) is bursting with babies.

Meet one of WDMH’s newest arrivals Aiden born on August 6 at 11:30 a.m. Pictured from left are Chelsea Hartle, Postpartum Nurse, Mom Sara Maclam, Dad Shawn Prud’homme with baby Aiden, Dr. Marilyn Crabtree and Stacey Dejong, Labour and Delivery Nurse.

A spike in births last month set a new record at the North Dundas hospital, doctors say.

The hospital's maternity program saw 80 deliveries - six more babies than June.

"Congratulations to all of the new families and to our entire team," said Dr. Shamsa Deeb, WDMH’s chief of obstetrics.

The WDMH program offers complete obstetrical care by a core team of family physicians, obstetricians and midwives, fullservice care with 24/7 pain management, as well as specially trained nurses and support staff.

The nurses and Dr. St. Cyr are amazing! My experience was wonderful. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is pregnant. Thank you very much for being a part of such a special time in my family's life.

Proud to say our baby Elliot was one of these babies! The staff, although busy remained professional and did not compromise the quality if care. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
