CORNWALL, Ontario – City police had all hands on deck to locate a missing nine-year-old boy who walked away from Central Public School Thursday morning.
Cornwall police Sgt. Troy St. Germain said the student was found within 30 minutes a short distance away from the school.
“We send all available people out when there is a missing child,” he said. “Everyone stops and everyone goes out.”
There were multiple police vehicles parked in front of Central Public School Thursday morning, sparking a few phone calls to the Seaway News looking for answers.
The student was located unharmed.
