CORNWALL, Ontario – One of the most popular wintertime attractions in the region celebrates a 15th anniversary this year – and has added some new fun to its roster of treats.

Upper Canada Village’s Alight at Night kicks off next Friday and will be open on select nights (5 to 9 p.m.) through Saturday, Jan. 2.

New for 2015 is the addition of an 8,000 square metre Mistletoe Maze constructed from giant bales of reindeer hay.

Returning by popular demand will be the 50-foot tall Alight at Night Ferris wheel where visitors get an unprecedented view of the spectacular lights. Saint Nick’s Merry Mansion at Crysler Hall will greet visitors with a Sound & Light Show featuring lights dancing to some of your favourite holiday songs.

“As we celebrate the 15th enchanting edition of Alight at Night, new innovations continue to be added,” said Geoff Waycik, manager of Upper Canada Village.  “This year the Mistletoe Maze is sure to be a fun new activity for everyone to enjoy.  Our team is delighted that a visit to Alight at Night is part of so many families’ holiday traditions.”
