SOUTH MOUNTAIN – The 42-year-old man who died after his all-terrain vehicle collided with a tractor trailer in North Dundas on Wednesday has been identified.
SD&G OPP said the ATV was traveling north on County Road 16 near South Mountain when it collided with a northbound tractor trailer going in the opposite direction just south of County Road 3 at around 5:41 p.m.
The ATV operator, Bradley Tinkler of the Township of South Dundas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer was a 39-year-old man from Ottawa. He sustained no injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
Provincial police said it is considering alcohol and speed as factors and that charges are not expected.
