CORNWALL, Ontario – A Megabus headed to Montreal made an unexpected stop at the SD&G OPP Long Sault detachment on Monday, to the delight of shocked passengers.
Officers arrested Andre Daouda Ba, of Dakar, Senegal, on August 24, after several bus riders allegedly observed the 21-year-old performing an indecent act.
Const. Tylor Copeland says the suspect was removed from the bus without incident, but he couldn’t get into specifics, because it’s evidence in an ongoing investigation.
“The incident didn’t involve anyone else on the bus, it was a lone act,” he said.
The suspect has been charged with performing an indecent act in a public place, indecent exhibition, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and mischief under $5,000.
Ba was held for a bail hearing in Cornwall.
