ASSAULT
CORNWALL, Ontario – Gerald Saucier, 35 of Cornwall was arrested on October 1st, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged while at a local bar in the early morning hours of October 1st, 2016 the intoxicated man punched another man in the nose and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
BREAK AND ENTER, ASSAULT, THREATS, BREACH, THEFT
CORNWALL, Ontario – A 43-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 30th, 2016 and charged with break and enter, theft under $5000, assault, threats and breach of recognizance for being outside his residence. It is alleged on September 30th, 2016 the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, entered without permission, pushed her, threatened her and removed property. Police were contacted an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
CORNWALL, Ontario – Tia-Katerina, 23 of Ottawa was arrested on October 1st, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on October 1st, 2016 the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Ninth Street and McConnelll Avenue. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 11th, 2016.
CORNWALL, Ontario – Catherine Finner, 61 of Arnprior was arrested on October 1st, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on October 1st, 2016 the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when she attended the Port of Entry. Police attended, took the woman into custody, charged her accordingly and released her to appear in court on October 11th, 2016
