On November 16, Mama Sue's Diner celebrated two in business in Cornwall and Owner Suzanne Lapensée says the family orientated restaurant's success comes from "a very good clientele" and a dedicated staff. "My loyal customers keep me going."
The diner is named after Lapensée's nickname. The name was given to her a few years ago while she worked at the tuck shop at Nav Canada in Cornwall, by Jamie Ross, who was a manager at the time. Ross says Lapensée was always working hard and keeping the smiles on the faces of customers during her time at Nav. "Mama Sue always made sure everyone was well fed."
Though perseverance and loyal customers and employees, "Mama Sue" is looking forward to another successful year. She also would like to thank family members Michael, Maxim, Cindy, Melissa, David and Brianna for their support and hard work.
