SD&G OPP Inspector Mike McDonell and Staff Sgt Brendan MacDonald attended the "Polar Plunge" in Kingston harbour this past weekend in support of the up-coming Special Olympic Spring Games that will be held in Kingston.

Insp. McDonell stated "the event was tremendously successful thanks to the efforts of Prov. Const. Stacey Cooper and her team". Inspector McDonell wants to thank all those who donated to the cause and also that there will be future events being held in Cornwall.

The paired advised that they didn't stop shivering until late Sunday night.
