THREATS & HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON- A 49-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 5th, 2012. It is alleged that on December 4th, 2012 he uttered threats and continuously harassed his 34-year-old neighbour by contacting her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Utter Threats to cause bodily harm and Criminal Harassment. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

 

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON- A 23-year-old St. Andrews West man was arrested on December 5th, 2012. It is alleged that on December 5th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 23-year-old wife when he damaged property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief under $5000 and released to appear in court on January 15th, 2013.  His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

 

Cornwall, ON- A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 9th, 2012. It is alleged that on December 9th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 20-year-old ex-girlfriend when he caused damaged to the property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief under $5000 and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

 

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF & ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON- A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 6th, 2012. It is alleged that on December 6th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 28-year-old ex-girlfriend when he ripped off cosmetic detailing off her motor vehicle and threw them at her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief under $5000 and Assault with a weapon. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

 

DRUG SEARCH WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit and Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section executed a drug search warrant shortly after 4:00 pm on December 6th, 2012 at a Montreal Road residence. As a result of the investigation 2 people were arrested and charged with 13 drug and criminal code related charges when they were allegedly found to be in the possession of controlled substances. Police seized a quantity of substance believed to be cocaine, marijuana and hydromorphone. The total value of seized drugs and property is estimated at $2000.

Michel Latulippe, 53 of Cornwall was charged with 2 counts of Possession of controlled substance- cocaine and marijuana, Possession for the Purpose of trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000. He was held in custody until court the following day.

Chantal Dionne, 45 of Cornwall was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of not to associate, contact or hold any communication directly or indirectly with a certain female, Abstain from the purchase, possession, consumption of drugs except in accordance with a medical prescription and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that the said female was located in the residence at the time of the arrest. She was charged with 3 counts of Breach of Probation Order, Possession for the Purpose if trafficking, Obstruct Police and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000. She was held in custody until court the following day.

 

BREACHES

           

Cornwall, ON- Stephen Kingsbury, 53 of Cornwall man was arrested on December 7th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to notify the Cornwall Police Service within 24 hrs. It is alleged that upon investigation on December 3rd, 2012, he had failed to notify the Cornwall Community Police Service of a change of address. He was held in custody until court later that day.

Cornwall, ON- A 27-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on December 7th, 2012. He was bound by 3 Probation Orders with the conditions keep the peace and be of good behaviour, not to associate, contact or hold any communication directly or indirectly with his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend and not to be within 200 meters of her residence. It is alleged that on December 7th, 2012 he was located at her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 4 counts of Breach of Probation Order and released to appear in court on January 8th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

Cornwall, ON- Robert Brannan, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on December 7th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, not to attend a certain store on Water Street East and not possess any intoxicating substances including contact cement. It is alleged that on December 7th, 2012 he attended the said store and was detained by the store owner. He was turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division were he was found in possession of an intoxicating substance. He was charged with 3 counts of Breach of Probation Order and released to appear in court on January 8th, 2013.

Cornwall, ON- Justin Lascelle, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on December 9th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to reside with his surety and abide by the rules of that residence and also not to be away from his residence unless accompanied by his surety. It is alleged that on December 7th, 2012 he left the residence without surety and failed to follow the rules of that residence. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was located and charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He was held in custody until court the following day.

THEFT & BREACH

Cornwall, ON- Laura Primeau, 25 of Cornwall was arrested in December 7th, 2012. She was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on December 7th, 2012 she attended a Water Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay of the concealed items. She was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. She was charged with Theft under $5000 and Fail to comply with Undertaking. She was released to appear in court on December 27th, 2012 to answer to the charges.

PROBATION WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Norman Latendresse, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on December 10th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding Probation warrant. It is alleged that between August 7th, 2009 and December 8th, 2009, he failed to report to his probation officer, thereby breaching a condition of his probation. He was located and released to appear in court on December 20th, 2012.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, THREATS & BREACHES

Cornwall, ON- A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 10th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good behaviour, Obey a curfew-  be inside your place of residence between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and not to consume alcohol outside your residence. It is alleged that on December 10th, 2012 he attended his 41-year-old girlfriend’s residence while being intoxicated. He got into an altercation with his girlfriend when damaged property, assaulted her and uttered death threats. The victim did not require medical treatment. Shortly after midnight, police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Domestic Mischief under $5000, Utter Death Threats and 3 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
