ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- A 12-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on December 30th, 2012. It is alleged that on November 7th, 2012 she assaulted her 28-year-old foster-mother. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with Assault and was released to an adult to appear in court on February 7th, 2013. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

FAIL TO APPEAR & BREACH

Cornwall, ON- Jeffrey Bergeron, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on December 30th, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on December 10th, 2012 he failed to appear for fingerprints. He was charged with Failed to Appear for fingerprints and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was held in custody until court the following day.

 

BREAK & ENTER

Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred on December 30th, 2012 at a Cumberland Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry and removed a X-Box 360, several X-Box games and Playstation 3 games, a pinkie Playstation 3 paddle, a black and white Guitar Rocker, 46” Samsung LCD TV and numerous jewelry including a family gold ring, a 20” rope gold chain and a Citizen gold watch.
