Dear Editor,
I read with interest the letter from Shane Sullivan. He is wondering who is going to pay for the clean up at the Domtar site. Well Shane, who the hell do you think is going to pay for it? The taxpayers of course! Now, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, as far as I’m concerned the best place for that new arena is the old Courtaulds site. Why? Because it’s less dangerous for the kids to cross the street, and it’s closer to the airport, the highway, and it would do wonders for the east-end. But you see Shane, we have some councillors sitting around that table who are very stupid and very stubborn, and it’s going to be built right where they want it, and they don’t care what it’s going to cost.
