John Scorgie

As we approach this Easter season, I would be very curious and quite intrigued to know whether you are seriously pursuing the path of peace. At this particular time in world history, “peace” is not the right word to accurately describe the present world scene. Rather, words like “conflict, crisis, corruption, and calamity” better tell the true and sad story. With the dark and dismal situation we all face as fellow human beings, I would still valiantly promote the many-faceted peace which God wants to bring to humanity through His Son Jesus Christ – the Prince of Peace! If we would all genuinely humble ourselves, repent of our foolish ways, and turn in bold faith to Jesus alone, we would find blessed peace in its entire beautiful spectrum. We would find peace with God in terms of spiritual salvation; peace with others in terms of interpersonal reconciliation; peace between and within nations in terms of sincere negotiations; peace within ourselves in terms of deep soul satisfaction. So I would encourage you and also challenge you to pursue peace for all it’s worth, in all its dimensions, and for all its many benefits!
