McGILLIVRAY, William Alexander “Alex“ - Passed away at Winchester and District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Florence (McKenzie) McGillivray. Loving father Hugh (Elaine), Donald (Carol), Ian (Sheila), Cameron (Judy), William, (Judy), Robert (late Judy), Stuart, Kenny (Elizabeth), Sean (friend, Laura), Grace (Don Bryson), Sheila (Greg McRae), Kathleen (Tony Beaudette) and Heather (Brian Branchard). Sadly missed by 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of James McGillivray (Pat), Harriet Murphy (Joe), Elizabeth Parsons (late George), Robert McGillivray (Lois) and Helen Blahat (late Alex). Predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth (Newlands) McGillivray and sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Crawford (Eddie) and Jean Butters (Allen). Friends will be received at M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (across from City Hall) Cornwall, on Monday, October 8 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Friends are requested to assemble at St. Andrews-St. Mark's Church on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11am. Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. McALEAR, Louise Irene - Passed away at Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Louise McAlear (Vincent) of Cornwall, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (Joe) McAlear. Cherished mother of Sister Mary McAlear s.s.c.j. of Ottawa, Hugh McAlear of Cornwall, Michael McAlear (Dorothy) of Orléans, Patricia (Mrs. Peter Willems) of St. Eugene, Vincent McAlear (Sue) of Long Sault, Shelley (Mrs. Brent McLaren) of Perth, Helen McAlear and Rosemary McAlear both of Cornwall. Predeceased by two infant daughters Marie and Maria. Dear daughter of the late George Vincent and the late Adella Leroux. Dear sister of Margaret Jamieson (late Morley) of Gananoque and John Vincent (Dolores) of Cornwall. Predeceased by four brothers Gilbert, Wilfred, Francis (Frankie) and Arthur and three sisters Wilda (Dolly) Martin, Zilda (Zeddie) Leroux and Freda St. Louis. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren plus three adopted through love,  many nieces and nephews. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932- 8482) from 7pm Saturday, October 6. Funeral Monday, October 8, 2012 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter's Church at 11am. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance Saturday, October 6 from 7-9pm and Sunday, October 7 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Monday, October 8 from 9am until time of funeral. All members of  St. Peter's C.W.L. are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 2:30pm for visitation and prayers for the late Louise McAlear. An honour guard is requested for the Funeral Mass.
