KOCH, Pauline - Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site on Tuesday November 27, 2012 age 92 years. Pauline Koch nee Kleindienst of Finch. Beloved wife of Norbert Koch. Cherished aunt to Henry Eekhout (Robin) of North Augusta, Lenore Graham (Ron) and Rita Brown (the late Jerry) all of Australia. Predeceased by three sisters Maria Ellerbeck (Jack), Elizabeth Kyba (the late Mike) and Annie Stumm (the late Willie). To honour Mrs. Koch's wishes, cremation has taken place. EVANS, Bruce William - Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, on Friday, November 23, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Evans (nee Forteath). Cherished father of Rev. Janet Evans and her husband Michael McQuaid of Iroquois. Dear “Grampy“ of Hilary McQuaid (Zack Lundy). Predeceased by infant daughter Marilyn Anne Evans (1947) sister Thelma and brother-in-law Walter Hill and parents Nancy and Percy. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by family, friends and neighbours. Kathleen and Bruce met in England in 1944. Bruce was a World War II veteran and was on the beaches at D Day. He was active in his church, branch 210 of the Royal Canadian Legion (life member), volunteer at Trillium Hospital and was on the Board of Directors that created Wesburn Manor. For his lifetime of volunteer work, Bruce was awarded the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award (2004). Bruce was a member of St. James United Church for over 50 years. He served on many committees including the refugee committee. The family wishes to convey their thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Trillium, Etobicoke General and St. Joseph's hospitals. The family thanks Richview Residences, Westside Manor and Wesburn Manor for all their care and concern.
