TESSIER, René "Puff" - Passed away at the Cornwall Hospice on Friday, February 1st, 2013, age 68 years. Dear husband of Lorraine (Cloutier) Tessier for 42 years. Predeceased by his father Donat Tessier and mother Aurore Tessier (née Goulet). Dear brother of Edgar Tessier and Garth Tessier (deceased) and dear friend of Michel and Pauline Chénier and their children Christine St-Jean (Chénier) and André Chénier and grandchildren. His departure has also saddened the members of his family in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall (613-933-2841). The family will be in attendance from 2-4pm and from 7-9pm on Monday, February 4th and from 9am until the time of Funeral on Tuesday, February 5th. Funeral Tuesday, February 5th, 2013, for Mass of Christian Burial in St-Félix-de-Valois Church at 11am, followed by Cremation. POLAND, Ronnie Russell - Passed away, from the result of cancer, on Monday, January 28th, 2013 at Pavillion Rosemont in Montreal. Ronnie was born in Cornwall, ON on November 14th, 1948, son of the late Milton Poland and the late Geralda (née St. Denis). He resided in Montreal and is survived by his dear wife Candide (née Lessard) and by his two step-sons: Sabestien Fortier (Martine) and Benoit Fortier. Also survived by grandchildren: Matheau, Laurie Ann, Feliks and Marckley. Ronnie was born second, in a family of seven. Ronnie's sister, Linda Deruchie (Bernard), who resides in Cornwall, ON, wishes to thank our family and friends in Cornwall and area for your prayers and messages of sympathy.

MINARD, Eunice (Maloney) - It is with great sadness that we announce that Eunice Minard has been called to the Heavenly Father to be an angel in heaven on Thursday, January 31, 2013, with her family by her side at the Cornwall Community Hospital, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Minard. Dear mother of Lynda Fontaine (Rick) and the late Gail Brazeau. Sadly missed by two grandchildren, Tina Besner (Marc), Derek Fontaine (Nicki) and seven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Paige, Chase, Alexzander, Nicholas, Bryan and Shane. Also survived by one brother, Ellery Maloney (Melinda) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bernard "Barney" and Flora (Barker) Maloney. At Eunice's request, no public visitation. Friends are requested to assemble at St. Columban's Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 for Funeral Mass at 11am. Rite of Committal, St. Columban's Parish Cemetery in the spring. MacHAFFIE Ruth - Mrs. Ruth MacHaffie (née Marlin) passed away peacefully at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge in Cornwall on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, age 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles MacHaffie Sr. Dear mother of Charles "Chuck" MacHaffie of Cornwall. Dear sister-in-law of Ann Marlin of Summerstown. Also survived by nieces and nephew: Diane Lunan (George) of Summerstown, Susan Gibbs (Stuart) of B.C., Scot Lunan (Becky) of Ohio, and Karen Bradley (Kelly) of Long Sault. Dear daughter of the late Daisy Jones and the late William Marlin. Predeceased by three brothers: William Jr., John and George Marlin. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at BOULERICE FUNERAL HOME LTD., 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall Ontario. LEMIRE, Marion June (née MacPherson) – October 9, 1925- February 2, 2013. Marion passed away peacefully at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge on Saturday, February 2, 2013, age 88 years. Predeceased by her husband, Adelard Lemire. She was a loving and devoted mother to Adelard Lemire Jr. (Sandra), Linda Koryzma (Richard), Chris Lemire (Leslie) and Liane Morrison (Claude). Loving granny to Shelley Ann Flammia (Chris), Chantal Abrams (Greg), Céline Koryzma (Will Partington), Brian Koryzma (Sharla), Ben Lemire (Stella Karami), Rebecca Lemire, Cole and Breanne Morrison. Great- Granny to Jessica Lee and Jaime Flammia. Marion was predeceased by her parents Earle and Annie MacPherson and her sisters Ann Ross and Ellen Warner. She leaves behind brothers Gerald MacPherson and Earle MacPherson, as well as Florence Lortie, Theresa Congreves (George), Jack Warner, Floyd Ross, Rita Clarke (Dwayne) and many nieces and nephews. Marion loved her family, fishing and was famous for her homemade donuts and will be remembered for her loving, caring heart. As per her wishes, there will be a private celebration of her life. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in her memory to the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge, The Alzheimer Society or to any children's charity would be appreciated by the family. DUPUIS-DRADER, Olive - Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville on Friday, February 1, 2013. Olive Agnes Parisien of Cornwall, age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Dupuis and the late Arnold Drader. Dear mother of Kenneth Dupuis, Mary Mack (Ronald) and Annette Dupuis (George Slater) all of Brockville and Rita Gallagher (Jim) of Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by her son Anthony (Tony) Dupuis. Cherished grandmother of Tammy Towe, Chris and Kevin Gallagher, Sarrah and Ben Dupuis, great-grandmother of Kyle and Cassie Towe, Mea and McKeely Gallagher, Brandon and Finn Banning, great-great-grandmother of Lola-Jade Towe. Survived by her sisters Flora Martin and Dorena Primeau. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Betty Dupuis and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents the late John Parisien and the late Annie Bergeron, brothers Arthur, Gordon, Nelson, Clifford and Donald.
