TROTTIER, Gérard - Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013, age 88 years. RCAF Veteran WWII, Legion Branch 297 Member, Université de Montreal, B.Sc.A. Agronome (Agrologist). Son of the late WWI enlisted Veteran Télesphore Trottier and the late Louisa (née Laframboise). Gérard's uncles, Alex and Joseph were also WWI enlisted soldiers and the late uncle Albert was a WWII Veteran. Gérard was employed by both the Ontario Provincial Government and the Federal Government as an Agricultural Representative and a Farm Credit Supervisor. Beloved husband of 61 years to Marguerite (Naud) Trottier. Proud and loving father of Jacques (Louyse) of Ottawa, Paul (Linda) of Long Sault and Anne Bethune (Lee) of Long Sault. Will be very missed by his six grandchildren France (Luis), Philippe (Barbara), Dominique, Justin, Daniel, Félix and his three great-grandchildren Jacqueline, Viviane and Elise. Survived by his sister Isabelle (late Emile) Des Rosiers of Ottawa, brother Fernand (Gilberte) of Warren and sister-in-law Denise Boileau (late Marcel) of Ste-Thérèse, Québec. Predeceased by his siblings Gabrielle, Gilles, Alice and Marcel. Lovingly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East, Cornwall (613-933-2841). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8th from 7-9pm and on Saturday from 8:30am until time of Service. Funeral Saturday, March 9, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in Nativité Co-Cathedral at 10am, followed by Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital would be appreciated. MARTIN-MILLER, Linda-Lantz - Passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, age 65 years. Born in Cornwall, ON, she was the daughter of Jeanne Martin, Cornwall and the late Michael Martin. Linda enjoyed her career in nursing. She was a Pediatric nurse of newborn and their mothers. She also enjoyed painting, crafts, walking and visiting with family. She was a long standing member of the Elmsdale Legion and also a member of the Christ Anglican Church, Lantz. She was a resident of Lantz for over 25 years. Surviving are her husband David, step-son Brian, Edmonton; sister Holly (Gordon) Vader, Penticton, BC; sister-in-law Terri, Ottawa; brother-in-law Leon (Barb) Miller; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, a brother Donald, several aunts and uncles. Visitation Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30am at ETTINGER FUNERAL HOME, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A celebration of Linda's life will take place 11am on Saturday at Christ Anglican Church, Lantz. Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating. Cremation to follow with Interment in Cornwall, Ontario. LANCTOT, Ramona - Passed away peacefully at the Parisien Manor on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Ramona Bernice (Leroux) Lanctot of Cornwall, age 75 years. Beloved wife, of the late Raymond Lanctot. Dear mother of Michael Lanctot of Cornwall, David Lanctot (Lorraine) of Limoges and Patricia Garlough (Joey) of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Bobby Facette (Beverly), Danny Facette (Renee), Julie Shane (Dave), Alison Flaro (Jason), Joey and Amanda Garlough and eight great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Georgette, Terry, Noreen and Phyllis Leroux and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents the late Arthur and the late Leah (Leduc) Leroux, by her brothers Marcel, Rolland, Leo, Rene, Lionel and Lucien and by her sister Jeannette Raymo (late Joseph). Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613 933 2841) from 2pm Friday.
