Pictured from left to right are winners of the Kitefest of the Parade of Nations  which was held on Sept. 16 at Lamoureux Park. Marie Morrell with Muhammad Osama Chaudhry (age 11) highest kite flyer (for age group between 8-13), Sahibzada Allaudin (age 36) highest kite flyer (for age group betwen 18-55) and his wife Seerat Allaudin. 1 width:500px;height:250px Cornwall’s Pack Walk was held on Saturday, Sept 29, in Lamoureux Park. The event served to raise funds for the local OSPCA and awareness against the Pit Bull band in Ontario. Pictured at the event are Alex Samson and Jeremy Oakes with a nine-year-old Pit Bull-mix.

3 width:500px;height:373px The ladies of the Cornwall Curling Club hosted their eighth annual Victorian Tea fundraiser on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Over 200 attended. Pictured (L-R) are co-chairs Vale Bradley, Carol Tyrell, server, Donna Villeneuve, Randy Rivière. 4 height:500px;width:398px When news about the Agape Center’s shortage of food got to the Army Navy Air Force Club Veterans in Canada on Marlborough St Cornwall, their members stepped up. From left are Betty Ann Macfarlane Neil, Nicky Boyer Arnold Fobert, the president, and Sylvie Mayer head bartender at the club. Nicky and Betty Ann took up the challenge and went door to door to homes and businesses in the area and brought in donations of food and cash that was used to buy food for the Agape Centre.
