The Cornwall Colts have dug themselves an early hole in the Central Canada Hockey League championship series.

The Colts dropped game one 5-2 in Nepean Wednesday night.

Tyson Spink and Kyle Baun scored for the Colts, who were down scores of 1-0 and 2-1 after the first and second periods.

The Colts were outshot 32-28.

The series resumes Thursday night in Cornwall at the Ed Lumley Arena at 7:30 p.m.
