Fastbreakers take home championship

The Cornwall Fastbreakers Senior A Women’s Hockey Team has been lacing up their skates for the past nine years.

In that time, the team has established a strong core group and has lots of hockey experience.

This past weekend the Cornwall Fastbreakers won their second Championship of the year in Belleville.

The ladies won in the Belleville, 4-0 in the finals against home team, the Belleville Bearcats.

The Cornwall Fastbreakers played five games in the tournament and finished with 26 goals for and only two against. The team is preparing for their biggest challenge yet being the Ontario Provincials taking place March 22-24 in Toronto.
