CORNWALL, Ontario - Fresh off back-to-back victories, the Cornwall Power Dames are ready to bury the Ganaraska Gravediggers tonight.

The Seaway Roller Derby Girls (SRDGs) hosted their annual 'Black & White' interleague scrimmage at St. Lawrence College.

The battle of the blades is going down at the Long Sault Arena (60 Mille Roches Road) at 7 p.m.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $10.

This season, the scoreboard shows a one-sided victory for the red-hot Power Dames.

The Kahnawake Wagon Burners fell short against the Seaway Roller Derby Girls League's inaugural team on April 19 at the Anowarakowa Arena on Cornwall Island.

The season opener finished with a final score of 262-109.

The Valley Valkyries (Renfrew County Roller Derby) suffered an even worse defeat losing 287-102 against the Power Dames in Long Sault on May 31.

But Cornwall's premiere derby team have a score to settle with the Ganaraska Gravediggers (Northumberland Roller Girls).

The first time they squared off, the Gravediggers handed the Power Dames a resounding loss in Cobourg in June 2013.

Fast forward to August 2013 when the Gravediggers came down the Highway 401 to Long Sault. The two teams met up in an intense battle but the Power Dames lost by only two points.

This Saturday, the Power Dames will lay it all on the line, as they compete for their third straight victory and bragging rights against a seemingly unstoppable team.
