Nine different sports are represented by the 12 inductees that are part of the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
The list of those that are to be inducted into the Hall at the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner include:

DAVID CRUICKSHANK – BUILDER – SOCCER
BARRY DOYLE – FOOTBALL
GERRY LEMIRE- HOCKEY
BRENT LONEY – HOCKEY
CLAUDE McINTOSH – PROMOTION
DR. ROBERT W. ROBERTSON – TRACK & FIELD
RHEAL SAVARD (posthumously) – HOCKEY
LINDA TRANCHMONTAGNE – GOLF
GEOFF TRASUK – FASTBALL
RON WOOD – LAWN BOWLING
After nearly 50 years of existance the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame today boasts more than 300 athletes, coaches and builders who excelled in their sports of choice.

The Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner is scheduled for Aug. 13 in the Salons of the Civic Complex. Tickets for the dinner are available by contacting dmurphy10@cogeco.ca .
