Cornwall Colts Bantam B win another tournament!

The Cornwall Colts Bantam “B” were in North Dundas recently for a tournament. The Colts offered a strong performance in the first game, but lost 2–0 to the Orleans Blues. Connor Nixon was named player of the game for the Colts. In the second game, the Colts faced the Mississippi Thunder Kings and the Colts felt short again, this time by a score of 5–1. Goalie Samuel Dussault was named player of the game while Joe Grady scored the lone goal for the Colts. In the Bronze championship game, the team found itself in double overtime against the Nepean Raiders when Samuel Dussault made a spectacular save that resulted in a breakaway for Kris Villeneuve who then scored the winner for the Colts. Other notables were Vincent Paul with a goal and Zach Harley, player of the game, also with a goal. In their regular season, the Colts were in Smiths Falls to face the Bears and came back with a 5–3 loss. Goalie Brett Warner, who was named player of the game, offered another solid performance while Vincent Paul with 2 goals, Brock Dazé with one goal and Josh Cardinal with an assist provided the offence for Cornwall. The team also took the road to Brockville to face the Braves. Mikael and Jeffrey Dobson both with and assist a strong physical presence lead the team to a 6–2 win. Player of the game Joe Grady had 2 goals and 2 assist while Brian Landry managed 4 helpers. Justin Théoret and Josh Commodore also scored a goal each while Alex Primeau managed an assist.
