Red Flames earn silver

The Novice Red Flames hit the road to compete in the 2nd annual Ottawa Girls Capital Classic Hockey Tournament and came home with the silver medal. The Flames opened with a 3-0 loss to the Kingston Ice Wolves. The second game was a 1-1 tie against Ottawa #1. Gulla White scored the goal. The last game was a 1-1 tie against Ottawa #2. Ashley MacCrimmon scored the goal. This placed the Flames in the finals for the B Championship. The girls played extremely well but came up short with a 2-1 loss to Ottawa #1. Emily Vallance had the goal. Hustler awards during the tournament went to Emily Vallance, Grace Laplante, Annabelle Ferland and Andrea Uhr. The girls had lots of fun throughout the tournament. Way to go Red Flames!
