Head-shave fundraiser

n honour of a sister and friend, Ginnette Lamer, who is now fighting a battle with cancer, the Vaillant and Lamer families got together for a fundraiser to benefit Canadian Cancer Society’s Melanoma Stem research, on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Moose Lodge. The evening—which in total raised $4,000—featured a group head shaving, and a 50/50 draw won by Ginette Bhen ($187.50) Many thanks go out to those who attended, volunteers and more than 20 businesses that donated to the cause. Special thanks goes out to Rita Seguin for all her hard work in the kitchen and Larry Flaro for the music.
