Mohawk Race Parts Pro-Stock

Cornwall Motor Speedway was hosting the final race of the Mohawk Race Parts Pro-Stock Series A fine field of the best Pro-Stock drivers of Quebec, Ontario and Northern New-York were at the track for this 50-lap event. A fine field of 26 Pro-Stock took the green in the 50-lap Mohawk Race Part Pro-Stock series as Corey Wheeler took the early lead over PJ Peters as Joey Ladouceur was quickly in third after starting sixth. Ladouceur passed Peters for second on lap 2. He took the lead over Wheeler using the inside lane on lap 3. A great 4-car battle was happening for the fourth spot with 8 laps in the books. Ladouceur was clearly the quickest car on the track as he got into lap traffic with 10 laps down. Caution came out on lap 13 for Ricky Thompson. Ladouceur retained the lead over Wheeler and PJ Peters as Stéphane Lebrun took third on lap 15, as the Peters brothers Allen and PJ completed the top 5. Ladouceur seemed alone on the track, as Allen Peters took third over Lebrun on lap 18. Steve Johnston brought caution on lap 23 after stopping in the backstretch. Ladouceur stayed in front over Wheeler and Allen Peters as the race reached the halfway point. Ladouceur, Wheeler, Allen Peters, Dave Bissonnette and George Renaud were your top 5. Ladouceur led another lap when caution came back out on lap 27. Ladouceur was still the leader with Bissonnette taking second over Wheeler in third with 30 laps done. Ladouceur opened up another great lead over the field as Pete Stefanski cracked the top 5. Ladouceur was back with slower cars with 15 laps to go. Ladouceur had a little bit more than a stretch lead with only 10 laps to be completed. Stefanski took third over Wheeler on lap 41. Gilles Godard spun out in turn 4 on lap 43 and yellow came out. Ladouceur in the lead with Wheeler back in third passing Stefanski when the green lights came back but Stefanski charged back as caution came back with only 1 lap to go. Ladouceur led the final lap to win the feature race over Bissonnette and Stefanski completed the podium. After all the races done, Joey Ladouceur is champion over Pete Stefanski, PJ Peters completes the podium, Dave Bissonnette and Dion Oakes is the top 5. Ghyslain Valade won the Pro-Stock body offered to the lucky driver participating in all races of the series.
