The Friends of the Summerstown Trails (FOTST) is a group of like-minded people who are promoting the use of the cross-country ski trails north of Summerstown Station on County Road 27. These trails have provided excellent cross-country skiing for the last 30 or so years, and many people have helped with the grooming of the over 12 km of trails. The road into the parking lot has been repaired by the Township of South Glengarry to provide ready access to the trails.

The group has recently been revitalized and now consists of about a dozen active members. The trails are being groomed on a regular basis and the weather has been cooperating. It is hoped that more people will use the trails and that many will decide to become members. Membership applications are available at the site, or write to FOTST, Box 91, Williamstown, ON K0C 2J0, providing contact details, and someone will be in touch with you.
