On Friday, February 12, 2010 students and staff at Immaculate Conception celebrated the Winter Olympics by holding their own Winter Olympic Fun Day. The event was for students in junior kindergarten to grade 4. It began at 10:45 a.m. with our Parade of Nations assembling in the gym. During the afternoon, students participated in 10 stations, 5 indoors and 5 outdoors. The stations were: alpine skiing, biathlon, ice hockey, snowshoeing, free style skiing, luge, speed skating, and ski jumping. We thank Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Vincent the event organizers as well as teachers and volunteers. The children demonstrated true Olympic spirit! Submitted photo
