Skip Neil MacLean’s Cornwall team took the gold medal in recent Senior Games competition held at the Cornwall Curling Club. Other members of MacLean’s team were Shelley Snider, Keith MacGregor, and Lynn MacDonell. Second place went to a foursome from Vankleek Hill, including skip Sidney Burwash, Linda Burwash, and Wendy and George Duncan. Taking bronze, from Moose Creek, was the team skipped by Stuart McKay, which included Joan McKay, and Janice and Donald Blaney. The gold medal winners will represent District 8 in the provincial winter games in Brockville in February.
