Congratulations to the U12G Coyotes for their excellent team work at the Coupe McDonald’s de l’Outaouais in Gatineau on July 18 and 19. The girls played hard all day with Kortney Seguin and Taylor Dennison in nets winning all three games 1–0, 2–1, and 4–0 with only one shot on net securing them a spot in the finals against the Gatineau Rafales. Goal scoring for the Coyotes were Jenna Huot (4), Jaden Barnes (1), Emilie Plourde (1) and Olivia Deschamps (1). After a good night’s rest, the girls were ready to play hard. The match was a test of their abilities resulting in 0–0 throughout the game and bringing them to a shootout that ended with the Coyotes receiving silver with a final score of 1–0 Gatineau Rafales. Coach Gilles Plourde, Assistant Coach Dale Huot and Manager Tammy Huot are very proud of the girls’ hard work and valiant effort in Gatineau. Go, Coyotes, go!
