The U11B Division 1 travelled to Ottawa to participate in the Kickin in the Capital tournament held on Aug. 8 and 9. They boys started the tournament strong with goals from Brennan Chaddock and Michael Brie to give them a 2–0 victory over the Ottawa Royals. Next they played a well-fought battle against Pembroke. A goal by Wesley Mantha gave the Blazers a 1–1 tie. On Sunday morning the boys secured themselves a spot in the finals with goals from Joshua Hunter, Dakota Renaud, Noah Proulx and Brennan Chaddock winning 4–0 over the Nepean Hotspurs. The final game saw the Blazers meeting the Cumberland Cobras. Both teams came out strong and the score was 1–0 Cobras at the half. The second half was very exciting and the boys fought very hard but came up short losing the game 3–0 giving them the silver medal.

    I got the winning goal in our last game when it was 2-2 and I made it 3-2 and we won.
