South Stormont wins energy award
A tree planting ceremony was held at St. Andrews Catholic School on Monday, June 22, in honour of the school's participation in the Township's award winning Kilowatt Countdown initiative. Earlier in June it was announced that the Township of South Stormont was the winner of the Sustainable Community Award (energy category) at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities 72nd annual Conference and Municipal Expo in Whistler B.C.
