Passed away at Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the age of 66 years.(Retired school teacher). Beloved wife of 46 years to Stephen Furniss. Loving mother of Dean (Debbie) and Kelly (Rose) both of Cornwall. Loving daughter of Alberta (Kyer) Gardiner of Cornwall and the late George Gardiner. Dear sister of George Gardiner of Edmonton and Arlene Lagden (Murray) of Bowmanville. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass in celebration will be held in St. Francis de Sales Church on Wednesday, July 8 at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in St. Columban’s Parish Cemetery. Passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Retired employee – City of Cornwall. Beloved son of the late Ernest and Lucienne (Joncas) Lebrun. Dear brother of Lilliane Whalen (Tom) of Florida; Madeleine MacDonell (Lawrence) and Claudette Eamer (Ron) both of Williamstown. Predeceased by his brothers Bernard (Susan) and Ronald (Adrienne) and one infant sister Lorraine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Cherished grandmother of Sara, Stacey, Andrew, Bobby, Laurie and Nicole and great-grandmother of nine great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Peter Sauve and the late Mary Bell (Richardson) Sauve. Dear sister of Garnet Sauve of Ottawa, Pearl Hurtubise of Cornwall, Shirley LaRose of Trenton, Darlene McDonald and Margaret Bellemore both of Cornwall. Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband of Diane (Beauchamp) McCormick. Dear brother of Cathy Culligan and uncle of Stephen. Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Dorothy (Munkittrick) McCormick. Special nephew of Lorne and Carol and cousin of Leslie and Linda. Friends will be received at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St. (across from City Hall) on Friday, July 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, July 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 4 at St. Andrews Church at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. Sadly missed by grandchildren Patrick, Sadie, Angela, Garry and Shawn. Great-grandmother of Thomas, Elizabeth, Catherine, Victoria and Garrett. Predeceased by her parents William and Bertha (Robinson) Hill.
