In St. Albert, Alberta on Aug. 17, 2009 age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert Montgomery. Loved mother of Cathy Sauve (Lionel) of Cornwall, Donna Geerts (Henry) of Edmonton and John Montgomery (Monique) of Newington. Dear sister of Edna Meldrum of Finch; Anne Feeley of Verona, ON; and Eunice Carruthers (Wallace) of Avonmore. Sadly missed by three grandchildren, Chris, Stephanie and Paul. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Neil (Kinnear) MacMillan; one brother, Aden MaMillan (Ina of Chesterville); and and one sister, Edith Ouderkirk. A memorial service in celebration of Muriel Montgomery’s life will be held in Newington United Church on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11 am. Reverend Daniel Hayward officiating. VALADE - Gilles C. (1945–2009)
On Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 at the age of 64, passed away Mister Gilles C. Valade from Vaudreuil-Dorion. Beloved husband of Odette Kyer, father of Colette (Yves Raymond) and Nancy (Lee Lackman), grandfather of Mélanie, Patrick and William. Brother of Claudette and Predeceased by his sister Jacqueline (Gilles Dupuis) and his brother Réal (Micheline Denault). He will also be missed by his father-in-law Maurice Kyer (late Julia Tyo), his sister-in-law Paulette Doré (Gérald), his brother-in-law Wilfrid Kyer (Carole), and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. After a courageous battle with cancer at the Janet Macdonell Pavilion, on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 with his loving family by his side, Robert Michael Borris of Cornwall in his 66th year.
