Bell turbo sticks are on in South Dundas and South Stormont
Like millions of Canadians in thousands of towns and cities across the country, clients in South Dundas and South Stormont can now access the largest and fastest wireless network in Canada with Bell Mobility. And thanks to a special offer on Bell’s latest Turbo Sticks, clients in South Dundas and South Stormont can also now enjoy super high-speed mobile Internet access at a very affordable price.

“Bell is delivering fast wireless Internet service to more Canadians with data access speeds that rival hard-wired desktop broadband Internet speeds,” said Adel Bazerghi, Senior Vice President of Products at Bell Mobility. “We’re working to enable more Canadians to take full advantage of the network’s exceptionally broad coverage and super-fast Internet access speeds by making our Bell Turbo Sticks even more affordable.”

Bell Turbo Sticks are very compact data modems that simply plug into a computer’s standard USB port for fast and easy mobile Internet access – great for laptops.

“New mobile smartphones get a lot of attention, and they are indeed remarkable devices. But plug and go wireless Turbo Sticks have been quietly changing the face of mobile Internet access with their high data speeds and ease of use, especially for business clients,” said Mr. Bazerghi. “We’d like to introduce their capabilities to as many Canadians as possible, particularly in smaller towns and remote locations that traditionally haven’t had as many mobile Internet options as urban centres.”

The new network: Based on the international HSPA (high speed packet access) wireless technology standard, the new network covers approximately 93% of the Canadian population across more than a million square kilometers. Most locations covered by the new network have not been served with next-generation HSPA wireless capability before.

Bell built its new network around all-IP (Internet protocol) network infrastructure that delivers crystal-clear sound quality, better in-building coverage, fewer dropped calls and maximum mobile data speeds. Bell Mobility also supports international roaming in more than 200 countries around the globe, including across the United States, thanks to a Bell roaming agreement with AT&T, the largest HSPA operator in the US.
