Suddenly at home on Thursday January 28, 2010 age 61 years. Garry Boyd Ouderkirk of Finch. Former Fire Chief of the Finch Fire Department; Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Heather Branch 357 Finch; Member of the Finch and District Lions Club as well as a member of the Finch Recreation Association. Beloved husband of Lynn Ouderkirk nee - Collette. Loved father of Jason (Lori) of Chesterville and Lance (Amanda) of Finch. Dear brother of Myrna McLean (George) of Finch, Wayne (Alice) of Chesterville and Reggie (Jeanetta) of Ottawa. Sadly missed by his grandchildren MacKenzie, Regan, Parker, Alexis and Logan. Dear son-in-law of Fleurette (Collette) Heagle of Finch. Predeceased by his parents Johnson and Irene (McMonagle) Ouderkirk and one grandson MacGregor. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. (A service in celebration of Garry's life will be held in Chalmer's United Church on Monday February 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM.) Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Spring interment Finch Community Cemetery. Passed away at the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Age 55 years of Purcell Road, Glen Walter, Ontario. Dear son of Felix Meilleur of Glen Walter and the late Laurette Plamondon. Dear brother of Gerald Meilleur of Long Sault. Also survived by one niece Michelle and many cousins. Resting at the Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd (613-932-5455) 218 Montreal Road Cornwall Ontario on Friday January 29 from 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 for mass of Christian Burial in Precious Blood church in Glen Walter at 11 a.m. Followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance on Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
