Unexpectedly at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Friday January 29, 2010 age 68 years. Freda Rose Stewart nee - Myers of Long Sault. Beloved wife of Dean Stewart. Dear sister of Ford Myers of Cornwall and Dean Myers (Wilda) of Stoney Creek. Sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Clara (McElheran) Myers; one sister Lorraine Fusee and five brothers Melvin, Vincent, Stanley, Sterling and Russell. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel & Reception Centre 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. (A service in Celebration of Freda Stewart's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday February 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.) Reverend Daniel Hayward officiating. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site age 87 years. Borge “Bob” Hansen Trip of Cornwall was born in Denmark on November 6, 1922 and was a past Commissionaire and W.W.II R.C.A.F. Veteran. Beloved husband of Betty Trip nee-Meighan. Loved father of Candace Elwood (Mark) of Vancouver, Pennie Trip- Lavoie of Montreal, Jeffery Trip (Kathy) of Florida, Kimberly O'Donnell (Garry) of Oakville, Paul Lobe and Noel Lobe (Katie) all of Bancroft. Dear brother of June Thompson (Charles) of Winnipeg, Chris Trip (Jo) and Karen Kelly all of Penticton. Sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren Jeremy, Briana, Erik, Dana, Tania, Luke, Rebecca, Andrew, Rachel, Ryan and by 2 great grandchildren Sheamus and Jasper. Predeceased by one brother Ove Trip and one sister Bertha Trip. Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, 310 York Street, Cornwall on Sunday which is the date of Bob and Betty's 62nd wedding anniversary from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Monday from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. [A service in celebration of Bob Trip's life will be held at the First Baptist Church on Monday February 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.]. CHAUVIN, Victor
It is with great sadness that on January 28th, 2010, Victor Chauvin passed away at home with his family and devoted wife Lynn by his side. Victor was raised in Sudbury and moved to Bainsville where he enjoyed life to its fullest. He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Victor is survived by his loving wife and friend Lynn (Corrick) and will be remembered forever with love by his children, Victoria, Dawn Zyma (Scott) & Cynthia Poulton (Michael). He will be sadly missed by his grandsons, Taylor Zyma and Aleksander Poulton, his mother Rita Chauvin the late Hector (Father), brothers Larry (Carolyn) and Danny and sisters Diane Laframboise (Leo), Linda Stonier (John) and Patricia Keast (Robert) and the late brother Denis. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Funeral Mass Wednesday February 3, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (321 Tollgate Road East, Cornwall, ON K6H 5R6) at 11 am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Sudbury, Ontario.
