At the Ottawa General Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2010. Robert “Bob“ Léger of Cornwall; age 72 years. Beloved husband for 52 of Gilberte (Lalonde) Léger. Loving father of André Léger (Judy) of Cornwall and Denise McLean (Stephen) of Kingston. Cherished grandfather of Louanne, Chantal and Michel Léger, Scottt and Allison McLean. Beloved son of the late Alfred Léger and the late Jeanne (Groulx) Léger. Dear brother of Jacqueline James (Charles), Roger Léger (Dorothy), Jeannette Wallace (Tom) and Pierrette Bourget (Gerald) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by one brother, Jean-Paul Léger and by one sister, Julia Kaddie. Robert will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and many friends. Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m Wednesday. Funeral Thursday, February 4th, 2010 for Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 a.m, followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m to 4 p.m and 7 p.m to 9 p.m on Wednesday and from 9 a.m until the time of Funeral on Thursday.
