CORNWALL, Ontario – TC Media hosted their first Google Partners Connect event on Weds. March 15 at the Nav Centre. The event aimed to assist in growing a real estate business online.
“We are a proud Certified Google Premier Partner,” said Patrick Larose, Media Strategy Manager for Seaway News. “What does that mean? It means we follow Google’s best advertising practices.” TC Media is Ad Words Certified, which involves completing and passing a comprehensive exam. “We manage a significant Ad Words investment, and have proven our ability through performance to help businesses succeed time and time again,” said Larose.
Nada Kovinich, Sales Representative at RE/MAX Cornwall says that the seminar helped her assess the platforms already at her disposal.
“I think in terms of online marketing, using Google for ad searches and bumping your ad are going to be really useful,” said Kovinich. “The other thing that really stood out to me was online booking. Very few agents in Cornwall use online booking.”
Jean Leger, Real Estate Broker, at RE/MAX Cornwall said that the conference helped illuminate some points of improvement. “I already use social media, but I think the seminar gave me some strategies that will help me make better use of those tools,” said Leger. “I’m going to have to do a little more homework, because it gave me a lot to think about. There’s a lot more involved than I’m currently using.”
Larose says that this will be the first of many events to come, with Google Partners Connect events planned throughout the year designed with specific industries in mind.
The next event will be held Apr. 17, focusing primarily on providing useful tools for the Automotive industry. “We look forward to hosting and sharing this valuable information with all our clients moving forward,” said Larose. “There are so many great things ahead for us and our clients.”
