CORNWALL, Ontario – The longstanding Chamber Golf Tournament celebrates 46 years of swinging success.

The event is set to take place at Summerheights Golf Links on Wednesday, June 7. Chair of the Golf Tournament and Chamber Director, Patrick Larose says that the tournament has evolved to accommodate more networking opportunities, as well as ensure that everyone enjoys themselves.

“We’re changing things up this year to make it a little more fun,” said Larose.

One of the main changes is the shotgun start, which will allow golfers to get underway at the same time, with tee off at 11 a.m.

“We wanted to make this year’s tournament, bigger, better and more fun for everyone.  Changing to a Shotgun tournament was the first decision we made,” said Larose.

The Chamber recently revealed Clean All as the Title Sponsor of the event, which will also feature hole sponsors, Seaway Summer Beer Fest, Rurban Brewing, and Matt Drouin of Traeger Grills, to name a few – all of whom will be out and about doing their thing.

As in previous years, golfers will have the chance to win a slew of prizes in various competitions. A Traeger grill will be up for grabs in the Putting Contest, sponsored by St. Lawrence Pools.

“It’s important that this is a fun golf day and also an opportunity that allows business professionals to network,” said Larose.
