SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario – On June 11, 2017 at approximately 12:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a property on Lakeshore Drive, South Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that an adult male was under the influence of alcohol and being belligerent towards others and officers present. To avoid arrest, the suspect fled into the St-Lawrence River but was apprehended by police a short time later.
Robert HOGG (28) of Chatham, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Causing a Disturbance (yelling/swearing)
– Being Intoxicated in a Public Place (Liquor Licence Act)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 1, 2017.
