LONG SAULT, Ontario – On November 26, 2016 at approximately 3:35am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of an assault incident at a residence in the Village of Long Sault, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had sexually assault an adult female.
A 22-year-old male from South Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Sexual Assault
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
