There will also be a lesson from very special guest, renowned Cooper Pete Bradford from Prince Edward County who will be conducting a demonstration on the art of charring a barrel.

The event’s sponsors are also offering fun activities and prizes for the World of Whiskey event.

Kings and Little Ones will be offering a beard trim and shoe shines to guests at the event and Traeger has offered up a $1, 200 firewood grill as a door prize.

"Whiskey is a passion of mine," said the Nav Centre’s Director of Conference Services Ian Bentley. "We are lucky to have this facility here in Cornwall. We are creating a world of tents in the gymnasium where people can experience more about his amber liquid."

In addition to whiskey, beer lovers will also have a chance to have some drinks from the five craft brewers that will be taking part in the World of Whiskey.

A portion of the tickets sold for the event will go to Crafting a Cure and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
